You’re All Surrounded: Episode 2 Preview English Translation

YAS 2.2

It’s officially started! Woohoo~! *blows noisemaker*

The even quartet of rookie police officers–an odd quintet if we include Seo Pan Seok in with the lot of youngsters–has hit the small screen. 🙂 I’m looking forward to seeing their camaraderie with each other build…episode after episode. 🙂 Unfortunately, my Real Life duties are softly killing me, so NewKDramaAddict and Jules have generously volunteered their services to bring you recaps of this series as only they can. 😉

S-O-E-X-C-I-T-E-D! Stay tuned!

As for me, I’ll be following the series mainly through their recaps and providing you with the occasional translation of  the previews when those become available. Shall we get started? 😉

Dialogue Translation:

Seo Pan Seok: What crime investigation can I do with four baby newbies? (loose translation) Please make a change…just change two of them.

Lee Eung Do: You and your partner are one body/unit.

Soo Sun: (sticks out her hand to Dae Gu) Let’s try our best.

Ji Gook: (to Dae Gu) Dae Gu! Dae Gu! You’re rooming with us?

Dae Gu: Don’t talk to me. Don’t make anything smell. Don’t make a sound.

Ji Gook: (in polite Korean to Dae Gu) This is magnetic movement. (I think this is what he says in reference to the wall clock. I couldn’t hear exactly what he was saying. Sorry. 🙁 )

Eung Do: First, have confidence. (Translation may be wrong because I couldn’t hear this phrase properly either.)

Pan Seok: (to his rookie quartet) Make sure you don’t get caught…and especially avoid doing anything that draws attention to you.

The Quartet: (minus “brooding” Dae Gu all shout earnestly) Yes, sir!

Eung Do?: Make sure you bring back/find something.

Soo Sun: I’ll really work hard!

Pan Seok: Never get involved in a fight. (His rookies get into a fight.)

Soo Sun: Eun Dae Gu! Eun Dae Gu!! (Dae Gu looks at his bloodied hands and flashbacks to his mother’s death scene) What are you doing right now?! Eun Dae Gu!

Dae Gu: (barely whispers in horror) Mom…?

I’m hoping to watch episodes 1 and 2 this weekend, but in the meanwhile, for those of you watching as soon as they broadcast, I wish you a fun ride with this group of promising rookie police officers! If the clips that I’ve seen today during lunch are any indication, this series should be a fun ride, indeed! 😉
