Ode to Lee Sang Woo: Vachel Lindsay

LSW 34

It’s the last day of February and time to bid farewell to this little new corner…at least until February 2016 when we celebrate our dear little turtle’s birthday again. 🙂

For our last “ode” to Mr. Turtle, I thought that this little fun poem would be fitting. I hope you agree, too! 😉

Vachel Lindsay – “The Little Turtle”

There was a little turtle.
He lived in a box.
He swam in a puddle.
He climbed on the rocks.
He snapped at a mosquito.
He snapped at a flea.
He snapped at a minnow.
And he snapped at me.
He caught the mosquito.
He caught the flea.
He caught the minnow.
But he didn’t catch me.
Musings: Doesn’t this poem seem quirky like our dear Mr. Turtle? 😉 I hope you’ll join me again next year…!

  1. I have been in the need of some LSW lately so I started watching A Word from A Warm Heart. I had passed on it in the past because I hate melos. It is not my cup of tea but such an amazing cast. Just finished episode 5 but I don’t know if I will continue.

    1. Yes! I can’t wait for his next project. 🙂 Hopefully, it’s a series that I will want to watch and NOT a heavy melo. 🙂
