But when she opts for a normal life as a college students and refuses to carry on the family heritage, her father arranges for her childhood friend to convince her to rejoin the martial arts world. Musings: I’d seen this movie around for a while but never got around to watching it. Recently, though, with the completeness of Arang and the Magistrate, I thought it would be appropriate for me to watch it as an homage to Arang (Shin Min Ah).
I found the movie cute, fluffy, and an interesting blend of reality and the ridiculous. Although it isn’t a thought-provokingly innovative movie, it did its job in easing me into what promises to be a busy workweek. If you have the time and the inclination, I would suggest you give it a view.
Happy Monday, everyone!
