Synopsis: Oh Mal Soon is a 74-year-old lady who loves to cuss, and showing off her son is her only ray of light. One day she finds out her family is sending her to her home. Musings: After watching this movie, my opinion of who should have played Nodame in the Korean version was confirmed, again. This was a truly fun movie to watch. Shim Eun-Kyung as Oh Doo Ri was perfectly cast and played.
With every conversation and interactions she has with her family and friends, you still see Oh Mal Soon, that was a fete in itself. She truly channeled the older actress throughout the entire movie.
Shim Eun-Kyung also has a wonderful voice, I have to assume she was really singing. Her stage presence during their performances were memorable and again made you believe that she was an older woman in younger body. To be only 20 years old, she is an accomplished actress and I look forward to more in the future.
