Okay, so I’m a day late. 🙁 However, I thought that the day was so special that it deserved a post…albeit a day later than I intended. >.<
If you didn’t know, you know now that the country of Korea celebrates children on a national level on May 5th. So in honor of that holiday, my little church minions and I held a mini-carnival for our children’s department at our church this past Sunday.
These two minions (pictured above)–along with a dozen others–helped make some unforgettable, special memories for the children at my church. Below are just a few pictures for you to see. Why? Because sharing of warm, fuzzy moments is caring… 🙂
Our version of bowling:
Our version of fishing for prizes:
In addition to the bowling and fishing games, we also had a bean bag toss and Bible quiz through which the children could win tickets to buy things at our Children’s Day Prize Store. Oh, and how would I forget the delicious homemade kettle corn that kept the kids satisfied after the cotton candy and the awesome animal balloons that my minions made for the little munchkins? 🙂
Overall, I’d say the event was a success and helped remind the children that they are very well loved. I hope that the children around you are fully aware of this as well. 🙂 Happy belated Children’s Day, Twinkles! And please feel free to share with the rest of us some of the awesome things you do to help little munchkins feel loved! 🙂
