It’s Saturday! One of our two favorite days of the week is here! 😉
As you read in the preview post (here), Jae Woo catches Da Jung on that blind date his mom sets up for her and her two sisters. Thank goodness for Uncle Nam, who calls Jae Woo and tells him about Da Jung and how all three potential guys are rather good catches. When Jae Woo realizes just how many details about her “date” that Da Jung noticed, he is naturally upset and morphs into the “green-eyed”
monster turtle. Shall we take a look at just how jealous our beloved turtle becomes? 😉
You can watch the raw video of the episode here.
Dialogue Translation: In this scene, Da Jung sneaks up on Jae Woo after learning from Director Yoo that Jae Woo had immediately taken Director Yoo’s advice about the closed eyes and kissing. Da Jung decides to Jae Woo a bit, now that she knows of his jealousy and its full context. 🙂
Jae Woo: (clearly peeved) So!…how am I different from your original impression of me? (Da Jung had previously said that she’s now changed her initial impression of him…because he was acting so adorably jealous. Heh. Of course, Jae Woo doesn’t know this.)
Da Jung simply continues to stare at him, blinking cutely into his eyes.
Jae Woo: What?
Da Jung can’t hold her laughter and starts to chuckle.
Jae Woo: Hey~Trying to move past this matter with laughter…I need to know. If you think that I’m different from your original impression of me, then that means you were disappointed. I should fix it then!
Da Jung bursts into outright laughter at Jae Woo’s confusion and jealousy.
Da Jung: (once her laughter subsides) You don’t need to fix anything. At first, I just thought that you were a good person…but you were really a cute man.
Jae Woo: (not pleased by this assessment) Cute? Even though I’m a man?
Da Jung: (still smiling and chuckling) I like that type of man. (Then in a teasing tone) Ah~! Back there (referring to the blind date)…because that man was cute…
Jae Woo: (makes a noise giving her warning) Again!
Due to my usual time constraints this morning, I’ve only been able to sneak peeks here and there, but those peeks were enough. Jae Woo is absolutely adorable in his jealousy and natural affection for Da Jung now that they’re “officially” dating. 🙂 Whenever he has the chance, he reaches for her hand, buys her medicine, feels her forehead to see if she’s running a fever, makes up an excuse about work in front of his mother to try to extricate Da Jung out of the blind date scene, morphs into an adorable “green-eyed turtle” before our eyes, pouts in indignation at being called cute when he wants to be viewed as manly to his turtle love, etc.
All in all, I’d say Episode 17 is quite the scintillating episode to watch. 😉 I hope you enjoyed reading this post. I’ll be back later in the day for the preview to Episode 18 and Episode 17 recap. Until then…have a wonderful Saturday, Twinkles!
