Happy Friday, Twinkles!
Today’s FF comes to you from one of my favorite movies of 2014, a movie that introduced me to the greatness that is Shim Eun Kyung. There’s a reason why she won the 2014 Baeksang Arts Award for Best Actress for this role. The young star already had quite the impression list of movie and drama roles–not including her somewhat questionable performance in Tomorrow’s Cantabile–and this role, which required her to portray a grandmother in a twenty-year-old girl’s body is certainly a feather in her acting career/cap.
Let’s take a look at one of my favorite songs from the movie…

I don’t really think the snippet here does the song justice outside of the context of the movie, but at least this gives you an inkling of the movie and song. It’s an upbeat song that recalls a desire for just one more time, a sentiment that I’m sure can resonate with many Twinkles. 🙂 Hopefully, you’ll get a chance to watch it soon if you haven’t already seen it.
On the upbeat notes of Shim Eun Kyung’s “One More Time” then, I bid you all a wonderful weekend!
For those of you interested in watching her acceptance speech, I’m including the below clip so that you can see just how endearing she is…and in the company of such incredible actresses. You definitely get the sense that the veteran actresses are reliving their first big award through her. Aw…
