Woohoo~! KBS World TV has finally uploaded the first episode of the Cool Kiz on the Block: Judo segment! *celebrates with a happy Snoopy dance* So we’re only two weeks behind Korea’s live broadcast…I can live with that. 😉
If you haven’t seen the episode yet–partly because you’re still mourning the end of the Swimming segment–I think you should give it a try. Not only will you learn some new and interesting things about judo, but the show unveils new things about our team members…even though this is the tenth sport of the series. Yup! I was highly amused and amazed by the things I learned in this episode. 🙂

Musings: Given my schedule right now, I won’t go into too much detail other than to say that there’s quite an emphasis on “body.” LOL. The opening with the seven judo athletes scaling ropes to announce the 10th sporting event and Lee Jae Yoon‘s introduction–if we can even call it that–give us a clear hint that this segment of Cool Kiz, probably more than any other event, plans to focus on the physical. Heh.
Seriously, though, the episode was a good one, all joking aside!
And who would have thunk it?! After sporting event after sporting event in which both Kang Ho Dong and Jung Hyung Don were relegated to status of “beginners” or “noobs” as I like to call them, they finally happen upon a sport in which they both excel. *nods for emphasis* Seriously, I’ve never seen Jung Hyung Don fly through the air like that (picture above), and Kang Ho Dong obviously hasn’t lost his touch as the “Nation’s Wrestling Legend” as he applies what he knows of wrestling to the new sport of judo.
Oh yeah, this latest segment of Cool Kiz is going to be a blast with the two established MC’s and guest team members. Just be warned: You may end up loving this series as much as the “Swimming” segment. 🙂
