Bulletin Board: March 29 – April 4

Hi, Twinkles! I hope you’re all enjoying the warmer weather! 🙂 No more snow, right?

Without further ado, let’s get started on this week’s announcements…

1. Sadly, RL continued to be the demanding mistress last week as I attended to additional concerns, so I’m not sure when I’ll actually get around to working on posts about the various dramas that I’ve promised and/or want to cover. *sigh* When did fun romps in Kdramaland become such rare treats? *sobs* Stay tuned! I guess “Good things come to those who wait”…. 😉

2. For those of you who can’t seem to get enough of Shinhwa, I managed to track down the Yoo Hee Yeol Sketchbook episode with Shinhwa…with English subtitles! Woohoo~! I hope you enjoy!

Video: Compliments of KBS World TV via YouTube

Obviously, there were some ardent Shinhwa fans in the audience who were extremely pleased by their luck at getting to see Shinhwa. I love the high-fives of two of the female spectators. Had I been in the audience, I probably would have done the same thing. 🙂 And if you’re wondering who my favorite member is, it’s Shin Hye Sung…with Eric Mun a very close second. 😉 So Madkdr, if you’re reading this, you now know that your second guess was correct. 😀

3. Update on Unkind Women: The various relationships are starting to converge as the youngest generation begin to make connections with the middle generation and the “drama” of the past while the presumed dead grandfather is finally recognized by his eldest daughter. Doh~! Wednesday’s episode is going to be interesting, to say the least. In addition, the love triangle is slowly taking shape as Lee Doo Jin (Kim Ji Seok) starts to see Jung Ma Ri (Lee Ha Na) as a potential love interest, completely unaware that his younger stepbrother (Song Jae Rim) has already declared his affections for the older woman. Heh…I can’t wait for all the proverbial cards to be revealed. The biggest question for me, though, is how the wicked teacher will respond once she discovers all the connections. Hmmm…this week will definitely be an interesting one. 😀

4. Anyone else besides NewKDramaAddict and MissieNelly watching Lady of the Storm? Share with me the secret to surviving this series…I’ve stopped watching it altogether because I can’t tolerate the repeated abuse and foolishness of the characters. *sigh*

OK, that’s enough for now. As you usher in another work/study week, may the following pictures of our dear Eye Candies help bring a smile to your day! 🙂

Such an appropriate picture for this Sunday, no? I absolutely love the bright splash of colors to herald the beginning of Spring. 😉

And of course, our adorable Kim Seul Gi, showing off her pretty sweater. 😉

I wish you all another glorious and “springy” week, Twinkles!

  1. Nelly and I are just gluttons for punishment! It’s her fault! She made me this way after suffering through Crazy Love (which we haven’t decided but this might be worse!). But Nayong and I can report that Apgujeong Midnight Sun at ep 100 is WAY better! WAY!!

    1. Hee~! Definitely gluttons for punishment! I’m only watching the preview clips now to save myself the aggravation. lol

  2. Noooooo! Don’t start daily dramas especially Lady of Storm! It’s just ridiculously long and never ends. And all the things that happen keep getting recycled in the series! And yes, all the characters are quite annoying too! The quality of daily dramas (especially the morning ones and their makjangness) really make me shake my head… 🙁

    1. Too late…*shakes head at self* The good news is that Real Life has precluded me from watching it these days. Heh…The extent of my involvement with Lady of Storm these days is watching the 30-second previews. LOL
